Two (2) Postdoctoral Researcher Positions [Ref # ΟΡΖ-0076]

The research group of DNA Damage and Mammalian Physiology under the European Program Η2020-ERC-2014-GA646663, entitled: “Nucleotide Excision Repair: Decoding its Functional Role in Mammals – DeFiNER” (Program Coordinator Prof. G. Garinis) invites applications for two (2) Postdoctoral Researcher positions.

Positions Description: Dissecting the functional role of Nucleotide Excision Repair in development and disease

Qualifications: PhD in Life sciences, at least one first author publication in a high impact journal, fluency in English, good knowledge of Greek, prior documented experience with mice, immunoprecipitation methodologies, next generation sequencing approaches.

Contract Duration: 12 months, renewable based on the program's needs 

Total budget: 2.200,00 € monthly cost per researcher

Envisaged starting date: 1 May 2018

Application submission: Interested candidates should submit their application electronically by March 31, 2018 @ 13:00.

1. CV
2. Brief statement of interest
3. The names of two referees

Evaluation procedure

Applications will be evaluated by a three-member evaluation committee. In case of interview procedure, candidates will be invited to participate in person or teleconference. The announcement of the results will be posted on the website of FORTH-IMBB.

This publication confers the right to object to the results within 5 working days of the date of the results announcement. The selected candidates will be notified personally regarding the success of his/her application and will be requested to submit certified copies of his/her degrees. In the event that the documents submitted to not agree with the original application the candidate will be dismissed.
